Three days in New York, looking back
It happened. On October 13, 2026, we got married in New York.
Three days across our favorite corners of the city: our home in the East Village, Rivington Street where we said yes, and a last night out in Bushwick before everyone went back to real life.
Thank you for being there, for the toasts, the dancing and the falls on the rink. This page is our little archive of those days. And this was only the prologue: see you in Mallorca.

Before the big day, you came up to our home for a sunset cocktail hour. Drinks, small bites, good music, and what we still think are the best views in the East Village.
Friends drifted in and out all evening, and Frida hosted. It is her house, after all.

We got married in Freeman Alley, a narrow little lane off Rivington Street. The alley means a lot to Roy, and Rivington means a lot to Stephan, so it felt right to start here.
It was quick, standing, and very New York: a few words, a kiss, and photos, with a small circle of the people closest to us.
Then we walked straight to Tigre, where everyone else was waiting.
Tuesday, October 13 · 7 pm to midnight
The main event, with all of you. Tigre is one of our favorite bars in the city, and for one night it was ours.
An open bar, plenty of food, a DJ, and a room full of the people we love.
Tuesday, October 13 · midnight onward
For those who weren't ready to go home, we followed the night to a dive bar down the street. What happened there stays on Rivington.
About a ten-minute walk end to end.

Before everyone headed home, we took you to a different side of the city: a feast in Bushwick, then the roller rink around the corner.
A family-style feast in one of the most unusual rooms in New York: a Wisconsin supper club, rebuilt piece by piece in Bushwick. Red velvet, Turkish food, and plenty of it.
Then we rolled around the corner to Xanadu, a roller rink and disco. Some of us skated, some of us held onto the wall. Both counted.
